Lazy Susan crafted from genuine whiskey barrel lid, stylish bourbon barrel table center, cheese board, serving platter

This hand-crafted lazy Susan is handmade from a genuine Bourbon barrel lid. I carefully select a lid (head) to minimize any uneven surface, then it’s glued together, and a sturdy backer board is glued and screwed to the underside. The turntable is rated at 300lbs, so it can hold enough cheese/wine/whiskey to feed a small army😊

The surface is sanded smooth, then a light stain applied to even out the appearance. Finally, it receives 3 clear coats of poly to protect the surface. Although it’s made from oak, it’s not a cutting board. The lazy Susan measures approx. 21’ across and about 2 1/2” tall and weighs about 15lbs.

Each barrel head is going to be slightly different from the next, some will have distillery markings (not logo’s), and have varying degrees of signs of aging (just like the awesome bourbon it once contained). One thing that will be consistent is the quality of the work and pride a take in crafting everything I make.
